Emergency lane: only for stopping

The emergency lane is used only if the car breaks down, for three hours at most. It is not used for overtaking, and its continuous line cannot be crossed, not even in traffic.

Word: Corsia di emergenza = the side lane where you stop if you have a breakdown.
