Brakes: ABS, engine braking and downhill

With ABS press the pedal hard and do not let go. On a long downhill put it in a low gear, never in neutral, so the brakes do not get too hot.

The handbrake is for when you are stopped, not for braking while you are moving.

Word: Folle = the gearbox with no gear engaged.
